ChipSESD Protectors

Littelfuse ChipSESD Protectors are available in small 0201 and SOD882 chip-scale packages (CSP). These silicon electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection devices feature bidirectional technology and ultra-low capacitance. These protectors are easier to install and rework than traditional semiconductor-packaged ESD devices. These ChipSESD protectors combine the advantages of active silicon with a traditional SMT passive packaging configuration. Littelfuse ChipSESD Protectors help protect sensitive ICs in small portable electronics such as mobile phones, as well as LCD and plasma displays, HDMIs, USBs, DisplayPorts, and other high-speed digital or low-voltage antenna interfaces.

Electric Bike (e-Bikes) Solutions

SP1005 / SP1007 Bidirectional TVS Diodes

Littelfuse SP1005 and SP1007 Bidirectional TVS Diodes are part of the Silicon Protection Arrays SPA™ portfolio and provide best-in-class ESD protection by offering the lowest dynamic resistance in the industry's smallest available footprint. Littelfuse SP1005 Silicon Protection Array devices (30pF @ 0V) offer up to ±30kV ESD protection and 10A (tp=8/20µs) of surge protection with only 0.7Ω of dynamic resistance, providing best-in-class clamping performance. Littelfuse SP1007 Silicon Protection Array devices (3.5pF @ 2.5V) can withstand up to ±8kV ESD, which protects up to the maximum level of the IEC61000-4-2 international standard. The SP1005 and SP1007 are flipchips measuring only 0.62x0.32x0.28mm. These TVS diodes are optimized for use in a wide variety of applications, including mobile phones, smart phones, camcorders, PDAs, digital cameras, and more.

SP1007 SPA® Bidirectional Discrete TVS Diode Array

Littelfuse SP1007 SPA® Bidirectional Discrete TVS Diode Array provides a high ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection level for electronic equipment. SP1007 is fabricated utilizing a proprietary back-to-back silicon avalanche technology that provides symmetrical ESD protection for data lines when AC signals are present. The component safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes at the maximum level specified in IEC 61000-4-2 international standard (Level 4, ±8kV contact discharge) without performance degradation.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. Littelfuse TVS diodes offer a broader application use and improved impulse protection performance over conventional diodes.

Battery Management System Solutions

Littelfuse Battery Management System Solutions features components that protect against overcurrents, surges, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) that threaten the safe operation of battery management systems (BMS) in industrial tools and robotics, as well as e-mobility, mobile, and wearable applications. These systems regulate battery performance and communicate with energy management systems to keep batteries safe and operational. Littelfuse Battery Management System Solutions include fuses, TVS diodes, diode arrays, single-cell batteries, multi-cell batteries, solid state relays, and more.
