MPO Field Fiber Optic Solution

Amphenol Socapex MPO (Multi-Fiber Push-On) Field Fiber Optic Solution provides users with a way to transform an MPO/MTP patch cord into an environmental connector. The system allows the use of a standard MPO/MTP patchcord in a metallic plug, which will protect it from shock, dust, and fluids. There is no need for field termination. The metallic plug is connected into a receptacle, using a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 Series III type) with an anti-decoupling device for high vibrations. The rugged Amphenol Socapex MPO Field Fiber Optic Connectors feature a typical 0.5dB insertion loss in single or multimode and are available with 12 or 24 channels depending on the MPO/MTP.
