Infineon Technologies REF_40VDC_1.5KW_SAW BLDC Motor Drive Board is a high-performance reference board designed for battery-powered applications requiring up to 1.5kW of output power. Optimized for 36V to 40V systems, it features Infineon’s advanced OptiMOS™ 5 power MOSFETs and the XMC1404 microcontroller, enabling efficient and compact motor control solutions. The board supports both sensorless Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and trapezoidal control, making the REF_40VDC_1.5KW_SAW versatile for a wide range of motor types and use cases. With integrated protection features such as overcurrent, overtemperature, and undervoltage safeguards, the board ensures robust and reliable operation. A compact design and high efficiency (up to 98% at full load) make it ideal for cordless outdoor power equipment like chainsaws, lawn mowers, and other gardening tools, as well as various industrial and consumer battery-powered motor applications.
