Alliance Memory J3 Series Numonyx® Embedded Flash Memories

Alliance Memory J3 Series Numonyx® Embedded Flash Memories utilize the high-quality and reliable NOR-based 65nm technology to provide improved performance and security features. These flash memories offer 75ns initial access speed, 25ns 8-word asynchronous page-mode reads, and 1.41μs per byte effective programming time. The J3 flash memories feature enhanced security options for code protection, individual block locking, block erase/program lockout during power transitions, and absolute protection with VPEN=VSS. These flash memories use software that provides program and erase suspend support, Numonyx Flash Data Integrator (FDI), scalable command set, and is compatible with Common Flash Interface (CFI). The J3 flash memories are available in a 56-lead TSOP and 64-ball Easy BGA package and operate within -40°C to 85°C temperature range. These flash memories are offered in 128-Mbit, 64-Mbit, and 32-Mbit densities. Typical applications include networking, telecommunications, digital set-top boxes, audio recording, and digital imaging.
