Amphenol Industrial Max-M12 Connectors

Amphenol Industrial Max-M12 Connectors are ruggedized high-speed data connectors designed for extremely harsh environments. These connectors are based on IEC 61076-2-101 and SAE J 2839 standards, making them ideal for a variety of rugged applications, especially those that utilize construction machinery and equipment, forestry equipment, navigation, GPS and telematics, mining machinery and equipment, and agricultural machinery and equipment. The connectors are also ideal for harsh environment sensors, controllers, actuators, and switches. Amphenol Industrial Max-M12 Connectors are rated IP67 or above. Max-M12 devices are backward compatible with IEC 61076-2-101 (M12).

    • Plastic or metal (for shielding)
    • 90° right angle and straight connector offerings
    • 3-, 4-, and 5-way circuit patterns
    • A, B, D and P polarity codes - based on IEC 61076-2-101
  • Available as stand-alone connectors and cable assemblies (standard and overmolded)
  • More resistant to terminal damage
  • Terminals capable of being terminated to:
    • 0.8mm2 (18AWG) or 0.5mm2 (20AWG) conductors as defined by SAE J1128 and 0.75mm2 and 0.50mm2 conductors as defined by ISO 6722
  • 444N (100LBF) pull force on cable
  • Backward compatible with IEC 61076-2-101 (M12)
  • Extreme environmental testing based on J2839 requirements
    • High-pressure wash down
