Bourns ChipGuard® MLC Automotive ESD Protectors
Bourns ChipGuard® MLC Automotive ESD Protectors are sub-1pF protectors designed specifically for use in automotive circuits requiring ESD protection. The CGA-MLC series is available in industry-standard 0402 and 0603 packages. In addition to low capacitance, these ESD protectors exhibit extremely fast response times to ESD events, making them ideal for protecting a wide array of high-speed digital electronic applications. Bourns ChipGuard® MLC Automotive ESD Protectors are AEC-Q200 qualified.

CG0201MLC-05H ChipGuard ESD Protector is designed to protect to IEC 61000-4-2, Level 4 (±8 kV contact/±15 kV air discharge). This ultra-low capacitance, single-channel ESD protector protects sensitive electronics from damage caused by electrostatic discharges. It features low clamping voltage, low 10nA typical leakage current, and bidirectional protection. The industry-standard 0201 package provides an extremely small footprint, making it an ideal space-saving protection solution for wearables, handheld devices, and smartphones.
