DLP Design DLP-USB232R/DLP-USB245R USB Adapter Modules use FTDI's 4th generation FT232R and FT245R silicon. Both modules are available in a lead-free, compact 18-pin, 0.1in standard DIP footprint and offer the FTDIChip-ID™ permanent serial number.The DLP-USB232R and DLP-USB245R each enable standard USB-to-serial designs. Asynchronous and synchronous bit-bang interface modes are also available. The DLP-USB232R has an internally-generated clock (6MHz, 12MHz, 24MHz, and 48MHz) that can be brought out of the module and used to drive a microcontroller or external logic. The DLP-USB245R features fully integrated 1024-bit EEPROM storing device descriptors and FIFO I/O configuration.
