Intel Q6 Series Desktop Platform Controller
Intel Q6 Series Desktop Platform Controller offers a platform controller hub with extensive I/O support. The Q6 Desktop Express Chipset provides PCI Express 2.0, ACPI power management, enhanced DMA controller, serial ATA, USB 2.0 host interface, and Gigabit Ethernet. This controller comes with SMBus 2.0 with I²C support, Intel HD Audio, Intel Rapid Storage Technology, Intel Active Management Technology, and Virtualization Technology for directed I/O. The Q6 controller incorporates the Intel Trusted Execution Technology, Integrated Clock Controller, Flexible Display Interconnect, and Display ports (VGA, HDMI, DVI, Displayport 1.1, SDVO, and LVDS).
