Microchip Technology MCP2221 Breakout Module
Microchip Technology MCP2221 Breakout Module is comprised of a single Dual Inline Package (DIP) form factor board. This breakout module is a development and evaluation platform for the MCP2221 USB-to-UART/I²C Converter. The MCP2221 module includes supporting software that demonstrates the capabilities of the MCP2221 device. These tools provide simple access for I/O control and the ability to establish a custom device configuration. The custom tools can also be created through the use of the provided DLL package.

- Mini-USB connector
- Access to the UART signals (Tx, Rx), I2C/SMBus (SCL, SDA), and all the GP signals (GP0 – GP3)
- PICkit Serial Analyzer compatible header
- 3.3V or 5V jumper-selectable VDD
- Jumper-selectable I2C/SMBus on-board pull-up resistors
