Microchip Technology PolarFire SoC Discovery Kit

Microchip Technology PolarFire SoC Discovery Kit features a a quad-core PolarFire SoC FPGA that has a 64-bit CPU cluster based on the RISC-V ISA. The FPGA supports Linux and real-time applications. The Microchip kit is built around the MPFS095 with 95K logic elements, 1GB DDR4 memory, an SD card slot for Linux booting, and Gigabit Ethernet. The device also has three UART connections, microBUS expansion for click boards, and a 40-pin Raspberry Pi connector for connecting Raspberry Pi hats, all controllable via I2C and SPI protocols. An on-board FlashPro5 programmer is available to program and debug the PolarFire FPGA through USB-to-JTAG channel.
